To catch a glimpse of where my secret heart lies, check out my short videos- most of which were created as part of one multimedia installation or another and originally appeared flickering on the side of an abandoned building or fireplace or elevator shaft...
Over the years I've taken lots of pictures of sudden moments that gave me pause- from rusty drain pipes, to Neopolitan walls, to trapped birds...
Not sure what I mean? Watch the video NAPLES IS A STATE OF MIND below if you have 20 minutes to spare...*WARNING it does get kind of heavy...

Whether you're looking to decorate your shop window with "up-cycled" packaging for Earth Day, create a float for the Halloween Parade, turn your downtown into a street celebration of the Purple Rose of Cairo, fill an empty store front with a "holiday window" (see my blog: "Making a Memory") or simply give your business a new look for the season, you can call on us to create a public or private installation tailored to your ideas.
While I was an artist in residence at the Edward Hopper House Art Center and lucky enough to call his childhood bedroom my studio, I organized a multi-media, village wide celebration of Nyack's native son, Edward Hopper. Inspired by the idea that “We need not look for Hopper in order to find him. We may encounter him by chance at random places where his world intersects our own" VICTOR BURGIN, I orgnized a series a flash mobs, pop-up projections, screenings, readings and "happenings" inspired by his work for visitors to "encounter" throughout the streets of Nyack. To see what I mean: go to hopperhappens.org
The following year, I created a series of short films that were linked to QR codes for a "digital walking tour". The idea was: wander the streets of Nyack (his childhood home), linger on a street corner that looks like it belongs in a Hopper painting, scan the code and watch a film on your phone exploring the connections...
Some of the videos in question are to your right.
Organizing a fundraiser for a community center and want to invoke the spirit of "home"? How about we project a video of original footage of children playing in a room festooned with tiffany blue tables and bittersweet vines....and we serve a signature cocktail featuring local pear cider and homemade ginger simple syrup?
Celebrating your 70th birthday and want to add your own flair? How about we festoon the hall with tissue paper bunting in your favorite colors & adorn the table with mismatched napkins and a collection of small vintage vases with flowers gathered from your garden?
We can help you tell your story, your way...
